Giải các phương trình:
\(a) \,\,\,\, |2x - 3| = 4; \\ b) \,\,\,\, |3x - 1| -x = 2.\)
\(a) \,\,\,\, |2x - 3| = 4 \\\Leftrightarrow \left[\begin{array}{l} 2x - 3 = 4\\ 2x - 3 = -4\end{array} \right. \\\Leftrightarrow \left[\begin{array}{l} 2x = 7\\ 2x = -1\end{array} \right. \\\Leftrightarrow \left[\begin{array}{l} x = \dfrac{7}{2}\\ x = \dfrac{-1}{2}\end{array} \right.\)
Vậy phương trình có tập nghiệm là \(S = \left\{\dfrac{-1}{2}; \,\dfrac{7}{2}\right\}\)
\(b) \,\,\,\, |3x - 1| -x = 2 \,\,\,\, (1)\)
Khi \(3x - 1 \geq 0 \Leftrightarrow x \geq \dfrac{1}{3}\)
Khi đó \((1) \Leftrightarrow 3x - 1 - x = 2 \Leftrightarrow 2x = 3 \Leftrightarrow x = \dfrac{3}{2} \, \text{(nhận)}\)
Khi \(3x - 1 < 0 \Leftrightarrow x < \dfrac{1}{3}\)
Khi đó \((1) \Leftrightarrow -(3x - 1) - x = 2 \Leftrightarrow -3x + 1 - x = 2 \Leftrightarrow -4x = 1 \Leftrightarrow x = \dfrac{-1}{4} \, \text{(nhận)}\)
Vậy phương trình có tập nghiệm là \(S = \left\{\dfrac{-1}{4}; \,\dfrac{3}{2}\right\}\)
